Bulgarian artist Dimitar Bogdanov was born in 1961 in Sofia. He graduated in painting at the National Academy of Arts with a specialization in Conservation and Restoration with Prof. L. Prashkov. Since 1986 he has participated in numerous art exhibitions in Bulgaria, USA, Canada, Italy, Poland. His works are owned by galleries and private collections in Bulgaria, France, Luxembourg, Japan, Turkey, Macedonia and others.
